Sabrina & Chris told me that their wedding day would be “entertaining” and that their two families were “nuts!” Well, they weren’t kidding! Their day was not only entertaining though…it was filled with the threat of storms and hail but all we had was a bit of rain that cleared (yay!!!), joy and laughter and lots of fun, craziness, dancing and tears - happy tears that is!
There was Olive Garden for dinner- whaa?? Yep. And cake in the face - TWICE! Sinister laughing as money was placed in jars. A child proof flask. Line dancing and the YMCA. A young lady who loves her daddy so much she was overwhelmed to tears at her first look with him. The Bride who had the same reaction with her daddy. The sweetest vows ever to each other yes, but mostly to said young lady - I don’t think there was a dry eye in that tent! Me and Liam included.
And am I the only photographer/vendor who LOVES the shoe game? I love getting to know people and laughing so it’s a perfect combo for me! Sabrina cracked me up with the question about who is most likely to lose their keys - she hid her shoe under her seat (lol) and it had a super funny ending! :) Who remembers?
I enjoy each of my couples’ stories! Here’s a bit of background story for Chris and Sabrina! Congratulations you two! I’m so glad you didn’t have to go home with a broken window this time. ;)
When and how did you meet?
We met at a nightclub in Colorado. He was working as security and I was there for Ladies Night. A friend of mine set us up. We’ve been glued together ever since.
Please share with me your engagement/proposal story!
It was the night before I left Minnesota for Texas. I had to move and he would follow me a month later. He took me to the Target Field, I wanted a picture in front of the baseball - I had one from when I first moved to MN. So he said, you have a first picture, and a last picture, how about memory? Then got down on one knee :)
