High School Sweethearts Hitched

Congratulations Hannah & Tommy!! I’m so glad we got to be a part of your day! You planned such an amazing wedding and savored every moment with your family and friends!

Every JJP couple is super special to me and I really love them all. Tommy & Hannah are a special kind of exceptional. They just really love deeply and care about people! No wonder they had so many in their bridal and that so many people were so excited to get “Table Photos” with them before dinner!

Pondview was the perfect location and their new ceremony site is stellar! The DJ’s outdoor sound was the best I’ve heard yet at Pondview and they did such a great job keeping the reception going! Well done! The dinner, catered by Dan’s Catering was fantastic and most of it was gluten-free which was super exciting to Liam and me to find out - it was WAYYY better than string cheese and crackers that we had packed to eat if it wasn’t. Our favorites were the turkey (I had) and mashed potatoes (we both had!). I was super impressed that Dan came all the way out to where we were doing some quick Sunset Portraits, to thank the Bride & Groom and say goodbye.

Hannah & Tommy have a beautiful love story:

We grew up together in the Princeton school district. We were in the same 3rd grade class and Tommy had a crush on me then but I thought he was an annoying boy. We then became good friends in 6th grade because he was dating my friend. Eventually in 8th grade I convinced him to break up with my friend and we started liking each other, but then his dad took his phone for a few months and I moved on. In 9th grade we reconnected and started dating in April of our 9th grade year! We eventually both happened to pick colleges in Fargo, ND!

These two have a fun proposal story too!

We were in Jacksonville, Florida with Sarah (tallest blonde curly haired bridesmaid) and her boyfriend where we planned just a little vacation for Sarah finishing school and I finished the first year of grad school. We spent the day at the beach and then we wanted to go to one nice restaurant the first night so we all got dressed up and I didn’t want to walk on the beach because of my heels but they all convinced me and then we got to the beach and Sarah was like Hannah let’s take a picture. I was like okay and then Sarah was like Tommy you guys should get a picture and that’s when he asked!

Hannah & Tommy love traveling, are dog-parents to Kona, both love country music and picked great music for the special dances. Liam and I were tearing up a bit during the mother-son dance!

Here’s a fun recap of their day!

Psych! Just kidding! The girls said we were going to practice the upcoming first bride/bridesmaids first look with Ingrie and this is the result! It was so funny! I couldn’t resist including it! Up next is the real one!

We next had the very special first look with Dad (he cried, Hannah’s sister Haley cried, Hannah cried, I cried, the video guy and my 2nd shooter guy might have even cried!!).

After that we had the first look with Tommy. Hannah’s Dad led Tommy down to our first look location and had emotional encouragement for him.

After the first look they read beautiful meaningful vows to one another! I felt honored to hear bits of them!

Bridal party photos took a bit longer than usually because of this amazing and super fun group of people! Those guys sure got a lot of air! They were pretty excited to throw Tommy’s Father-in-Law to be! There might have been a bit of spit flying, some sweat and a button! ;)

The Ceremony was beautiful! What an amazing archway!

And flower grandmas!

And Kona as the ring bearer!

The Grand Entrance was the most unique I’ve seen! Hannah and Tommy entered first so that they could watch and judge the entrance competition! So fun! Way to go Bridal Party!

The toasts were fantastic! I think we all cried again! (C’mon Mike!)

They had this super fun musical chairs game that Hannah was so excited about - check out her face as she’s watching! In 13 years of weddings this was a first for me but so entertaining and fun!

Hannah you did an amazing job planning this amazing wedding to your man! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! All your ideas were so meaningful and full of joy! You both love your friends and family so well! It was a joy to be around you all!

Congratulations to you both! I love you both! Sending big hugs!! xoxo
